Nearly 75 people participated in September. They came ready to learn and take action. The energy was awesome, the content valuable, and there was a buzz in the room about the good work being done by the partnership. CHOW (Culinary Hospitality Outreach and Wellness) presented useful and thought provoking information that was appreciated by our retail partners as much as our food & beverage partners. The Customer Experience Committee created an interactive survey experience during our All-Partner Meeting that was a lot of fun! The word collage above was created from one of those questions. This Committee is also creating a series of Public Service Announcements, or PSAs, to help raise awareness of, and improve public attitudes and behaviors towards hospitality workers. Kindness matters!
The Regulations Committee had Chris Manley, Environmental Health Director, join the All-Partner meeting to help us better understand questions that can be asked regarding pets on patios (did you know that dogs and miniature horses are the only 2 designated service animals!) and the upcoming health code changes. The Staffing Committee has been working on archetypes and collecting career pathways of area leaders to share and inspire future hospitality careers. Everyone's path looks different and that is ok!
